Synopsis
Short supply chains in Ecuador face barriers posed by the prevailing long supply chains. Drawing on behavioral economics, this study analyzes the factors that influence consumer decisions, such as habits, cognitive dissonance, and behavioral biases. Understanding these psychological dynamics is key to designing effective strategies that promote responsible consumption within these alternative markets
