Synopsis

The Christian Left Revolutionary Movement (MRIC) was a Marxist-Leninist organization rooted in liberation theology that emerged as part of Ecuador’s “New Left.” The text analyzes its pyramidal political and organizational model based on the Leninist cell system. Its members were trained in critical Marxism and humanist socialism, achieving significant influence in social and mass movements, notably including the founding of Ecuarunari.

Es licenciado en Gestión para el Desarrollo Local Sostenible por la Universidad Politécnica Salesiana y maestrante en Estudios Latinoamericanos de la Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar, Sede Ecuador (UASB-E). Actualmente se desempeña como técnico-docente en la Universidad Amawtay Wasi.
