Scholarly publishing is one of the cornerstones of academic life at UASB-E. Its editorial approach is closely linked to the university’s commitment to research, which is guided by multidisciplinary principles, the need for research to be integrated with teaching, and the goal of ensuring that research findings can be used for scientific dissemination or applied to production processes.

Thematic diversity and scientific rigor form the foundation of this work, whose objectives are to disseminate the results of teaching and research, offer the academic community and readers in general new materials containing significant scientific advances, and contribute to institutional efforts to improve education. In this regard, UASB-E aims to reach not only specialized media but also the general public, particularly teachers and students.

Given that UASB-E’s work takes place within the Andean regional context, amidst urgent demands, its publishing activities reinforce its commitment to the region’s development in the areas of education, culture, science, and technology.

The UASB-E’s extensive publishing activities are carried out through co-publishing and sponsorship of publications, based on agreements with other academic institutions or publishers. The department responsible for publications is the Publications Office, which has published XXX titles over the course of its 30-year history.
